National Draw Schedule: Every State Lottery Draw Time in One Place

April 10, 2026  ·  5 min read  ·  Tool Guides

What the Draw Schedule Shows

The National Draw Schedule is a single-page reference for every lottery game draw time across all US states covered by this app. Instead of hunting through 43 individual lottery websites, you see all draw times in one organized view. This is especially useful when you hold tickets in multiple states and need to know which draws to check first after results come in.

Times are displayed in the local time zone of each state — for example, a 7:57 PM ET draw in New York is shown as 7:57 PM Eastern, not converted to your local time. This matches what each state's official website shows, making it easy to cross-reference.

Reading the Schedule Cards

Each card on the schedule page represents one game in one state. The card shows:

Filtering by Game Type

The filter chips at the top of the page let you narrow the display to a single game category. Available filters include Pick 3, Pick 4, Pick 5, Pick 6, Powerball, Mega Millions, and other game families. Selecting "Powerball" shows only Powerball draw schedules for all 43 states at once — useful for confirming that Powerball draws at the same time nationally (Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 PM ET) with no state variation. Selecting "Pick 3" shows the significant variety of draw times across states for that game type.

Draw Times and Time Zones

US state lotteries span four main time zones: Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific. Most multi-state games (Powerball, Mega Millions) draw in the Eastern time zone and results are available simultaneously nationwide. State-specific games draw at local times that vary significantly — a Pick 4 evening draw in California at 6:30 PM PT occurs at 9:30 PM ET. The schedule always shows local times to avoid confusion.

Midday vs Evening Draws

Most states that run Pick 3 and Pick 4 games offer two separate daily draws: a midday draw (typically 12:00–1:30 PM local) and an evening draw (typically 6:30–11:00 PM local). These are completely separate events with separate results — a number you pick for the evening draw does not apply to the midday draw or vice versa. The schedule page lists them as separate entries so you can see both draw times for each state's digit games at a glance.

Using the Schedule to Plan

Keep the Draw Schedule bookmarked as a quick reference. If you are purchasing tickets during the day, check whether the midday draw has already happened (making you eligible only for the evening draw). If you are in a time zone west of the state you are playing in, the draws may occur earlier in your local day than you expect. Planning around draw times helps ensure you are not scrambling to buy tickets after the cutoff — most state lotteries stop selling tickets 5–15 minutes before the draw time shown on this schedule.
