What Is the Streak Finder?
The Cross-State Streak Finder answers a simple question: across all US states running Pick 3 (or Pick 4), which state is experiencing the most extreme drought for each digit right now?
The 10 Digit Cards
The page shows 10 cards — one for each digit 0 through 9. Each card displays:
- Digit: The number in question
- Worst State: The US state with the longest current gap for this digit
- Current Gap: How many draws in a row that digit has missed in that state
- Overdue Ratio: Current gap ÷ average gap — how much more unusual this drought is compared to normal
Understanding the Overdue Ratio
An overdue ratio of 1.0× means the drought is exactly average — nothing unusual. A ratio of 3.0× means the digit has been missing for three times its normal gap. Color coding helps you spot extremes: red (3×+), amber (2×+), green (below 2×).
Expanding a Digit
Click any digit card to expand it and see ALL states ranked by their overdue ratio for that digit. This lets you compare your state to the national picture.
Practical Use
If you play Pick 3 in Ohio and digit 7 has gone 30 draws without hitting, the Streak Finder tells you whether that's unusual nationally (maybe every state is seeing extended 7 droughts) or specific to Ohio. Context matters.
Remember: lottery draws are random. An "overdue" digit has no greater probability of appearing next. Each draw is independent. This tool is for informational purposes only.
