Nebraska Lottery Draw Games
The Nebraska Lottery offers eight draw games ranging from daily digit picks to multi-state mega-jackpots. Established in 1993, the Nebraska Lottery directs its revenue to education, the environment, and the Nebraska State Fair — a unique three-way beneficiary split. Nebraska has a 5% state tax on lottery winnings. All draw times are Central Time and all games are evening-only.
Pick 3 (3 digits, 0-9)
Pick 3 is Nebraska's classic daily digit game. Choose three digits from 0 to 9 with evening draws at approximately 9:00 PM CT, seven days a week. Play types include Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Front Pair, and Back Pair. Pick 3 has been a staple of the Nebraska Lottery since the early years of the program.
Pick 4 (4 digits, 0-9)
Pick 4 is Nebraska's newest digit game, launching in September 2025. Choose four digits from 0 to 9 with evening draws at approximately 9:00 PM CT, seven days a week. Play types mirror Pick 3 with additional box combinations due to the fourth digit. The addition of Pick 4 brought Nebraska in line with most other state lotteries offering a four-digit game.
Pick 5 (5/38)
Pick 5 is Nebraska's exclusive in-state lotto game. Pick 5 numbers from 1 to 38, drawn daily at 9:00 PM CT. The rolling jackpot starts at $50,000 and grows until won. Four prize tiers range from a free ticket (match 2) up to the rolling jackpot. With jackpot odds of approximately 1 in 501,942, Pick 5 offers far more favorable odds than multi-state games — making it the best value jackpot game in Nebraska's portfolio.
2by2 (2 Red 1-26 + 2 White 1-26)
2by2 is a multi-state game shared with North Dakota, Kansas, and other states. Pick 2 Red numbers from 1 to 26 and 2 White numbers from 1 to 26, drawn daily at 10:00 PM CT. The top prize is a fixed $22,000 for matching all 4 numbers across both pools. Nebraska was one of the original states to offer 2by2, and the dual-pool Red/White format makes it one of the most distinctive lottery games in the country.
Lotto America (5/52 + Star Ball 1/10)
Lotto America is a multi-state game. Pick 5 numbers from 1 to 52 plus a Star Ball from 1 to 10, drawn Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday evenings at 9:15 PM CT. The All Star Bonus multiplier can boost non-jackpot prizes up to 5x for an extra $1. Nine prize tiers from $2 up to the rolling jackpot.
Millionaire For Life (5/58 + Millionaire Ball 1/5)
Millionaire For Life replaced Lucky for Life in February 2026. Pick 5 numbers from 1 to 58 plus a Millionaire Ball from 1 to 5, drawn daily at 10:15 PM CT. The top prize is $18 million paid for life, with a second-tier prize of $100,000 per year for life. Nine prize tiers make this a compelling game for players seeking life-changing, recurring payouts.
Powerball (5/69 + 1/26)
Powerball draws Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday evenings. Pick 5 numbers from 1 to 69 plus a Powerball from 1 to 26. The Power Play multiplier can boost non-jackpot prizes up to 10x for an extra $1. Jackpot odds are 1 in 292,201,338.
Mega Millions (5/70 + 1/25)
Mega Millions draws Tuesday and Friday evenings. Pick 5 numbers from 1 to 70 plus a Mega Ball from 1 to 25. The Megaplier multiplies non-jackpot prizes up to 5x for an extra $1. Jackpot odds are 1 in 302,575,350.
