Pennsylvania Lottery Games 2026: Pick 2, Pick 3, Cash 5, Match 6 & More

Pennsylvania's Draw Game Lineup

The Pennsylvania Lottery offers nine draw games covering daily digit games, in-state jackpot games, and multi-state blockbusters. Pennsylvania is the only U.S. lottery whose profits are dedicated entirely to programs benefiting older residents rather than education. With a flat state tax rate of just 3.07% on lottery winnings, PA is one of the most tax-friendly states for lottery players.

Pick 2

PA Pick 2 is a 2-digit game drawn twice daily — Day at 1:35 PM ET and Evening at 6:59 PM ET. Choose 2 digits from 0 to 9 and select your play type:

The Wild Ball add-on costs an extra $1 and introduces a separately drawn digit that can substitute for any of the drawn numbers, giving you additional ways to win on every play type.

Pick 3

Pick 3 works the same as Pick 2 but with 3 digits (0-9). Draws happen at 1:35 PM and 6:59 PM ET daily. A $1 Straight bet pays $500 (1 in 1,000 odds). Box, Straight/Box, Front Pair, and Back Pair play types are available. Wild Ball is also offered for an additional $1 per play.

Pick 4

Pick 4 uses 4 digits (0-9) with the same Day and Evening draw schedule. A $1 Straight bet pays $5,000 (1 in 10,000 odds). All standard play types plus Wild Ball apply. The larger digit count makes box plays more varied and interesting for pattern analysis.

Pick 5

Pick 5 rounds out the digit game lineup with 5 digits (0-9). Same draw times apply. A $1 Straight bet pays $50,000 (1 in 100,000 odds). Wild Ball is available. Pick 5 offers the highest digit-game payout in the PA lineup and is ideal for players who enjoy combining frequency analysis with multiple play types.

Treasure Hunt

Treasure Hunt is PA's daily 5-from-30 jackpot game, drawn at 1:35 PM ET. Match all 5 numbers to win the rolling jackpot, which starts at $10,000 and grows until someone wins. The relatively small number pool (1-30) gives better overall odds than most lotto-style games — roughly 1 in 142,506 for the jackpot. Secondary prizes are awarded for matching 4, 3, or 2 numbers.

Cash 5

Cash 5 is a daily evening game (6:59 PM ET) where you pick 5 numbers from 1 to 43. The jackpot starts at $125,000 and rolls over until won. Jackpot odds are approximately 1 in 962,598. Cash 5 sits in a sweet spot between the daily digit games and the larger jackpot offerings, making it one of PA's most popular draw games.

Match 6 Lotto

Match 6 is PA's flagship in-state lotto game. For $2, you receive three lines of 6 numbers from a pool of 1-49 — an unusual format that triples your chances compared to a standard single-line ticket. Draws are daily at 6:59 PM ET. The jackpot starts at $500,000 and rolls until won. Match 6 is one of the few U.S. lotto games that gives you multiple lines per ticket by default, making it a distinctive game for wheeling and combination strategies.

Powerball & Mega Millions

Pennsylvania participates in both multi-state jackpot games. Powerball (Mon/Wed/Sat) uses 5 from 1-69 plus a Powerball from 1-26. Mega Millions (Tue/Fri) uses 5 from 1-70 plus a Mega Ball from 1-25. Both include add-on multiplier options (Power Play and Megaplier).

Wild Ball — PA's Unique Add-On

The Wild Ball is a feature unique to Pennsylvania's digit games (Pick 2 through Pick 5). For an extra $1, a separately drawn Wild Ball number can substitute for any of the regular drawn digits. This effectively multiplies your winning combinations without requiring additional tickets. If you play Pick 3 Straight and the drawn numbers are 4-7-2 with Wild Ball 9, you now win on 9-7-2, 4-9-2, and 4-7-9 in addition to the exact match.
